Google Destination Wedding Photographers to your heart’s content and you will find one common denominator with all of the information you find, and it is this:  “DON’T be cheap”!  So I guess that answers our question.  But let’s examine WHY a professional is worth the extra money.

Sure, most resort wedding packages will include a wedding photographer, however what you might not know is that these photographers are most often resort staff and NOT professionals.  Let’s face it, an amateur will not be able to capture those unforgettable memories like a true professional can.  And there’s a pretty good chance that they are NOT working with professional equipment.  Your destination wedding is unique, and it is not the time for an inexperienced photographer to be figuring out the basics of how to capture your day best.  There is a reason why well-regarded photographers are worth every penny.  If remembering your day is important, hire a professional.   In the end, the photography is the only thing that is truly going to last from that day.

So my sister is getting married, and I’

So my sister is getting married, and I’ve been searching the web for ideas to go along with her modern take on a Marie-Antoinette themed wedding. Firstly, LOVE the idea!! She has her heart set on beautiful pastels in pinks, blues and greens for her wedding colours and that opens up a world of possibilities! Here’s a photo of some of my favourite ideas for her theme. Trash The Dress?
